I've been meaning to post this for a couple weeks but I'm just now getting around to it.
CJ is officially 18 months old! Here are some of his tricks he's into these days.
He picks up toys, some resembling a phone and some definitely not, and walks around babbling with the phone held up to his ear.
CJ puts a bag or something on his shoulder and holds up his arm so it won't fall off; then he walks toward the door, waving, and says "i, i." Good thing "hi" and "bye" sound so similar.
He loves giving Lucy hugs. He is so sweet around her-just not always gentle. He sometimes body slams her when she's laying on her back to get a good grip around her I guess.
Lucy rolled over once, and CJ saw me get excited I guess so now he rolls her over and over. She likes it sometimes (he even got a giggle out of her once) and sometimes she doesn't like it at all.
CJ takes a one hour nap. If I'm lucky, he'll sleep longer but I'm usually not that lucky. He wakes up usually in quite an unpleasant mood. Like clockwork, he wakes up after 60 minutes and cries and screams like I'm the worst mom in the world if I leave him there a minute longer than he wants. Once he gets a snack or something, he loves playing with just me till Lucy wakes up. (I try to play with their naptimes to be at the same time so I can rest too.)
This kid wears me out! I put him in bed at 8 pm, no matter what. I think I'm exhausted more than he is. Its a good thing we've had such a mild winter so we can go outside often.
CJ only has a couple of words, but he's on the verge of talking. I just know it. He totally know what we're talking about. For example, I'll say "Let's go check on Lucy" or "Let's go wake up Daddy" and he'll turn and run toward our room.
All my children! Wear me out, but I wouldn't trade it for anything!
